Dear Pastors and praying friends,                                                                      March 2003

Greetings once again from Mexico with heart felt thanks for all your prayers and support. God and His people have sure been good to us and we praise Him for it.  All of you have been such a blessing and help to us in our effort to serve the Lord here on the mission field.

Due to the very generous love offering that Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ga. gave us we are about to finish the wall all the way around the land at about seven foot tall.  We still need to pour a cap of cement all the way around it but thank the Lord for allowing us to get the wall up this high.  It is such a blessing.  I don’t think we will ever be able to say “finished” as long as we are building this Camp and Retreat since there will always be more to do.  The next big need is a metal gate/door for the entrance.  I don’t know the exact cost but due to the size and material needed it will cost around 500.00 to build.  All this that we are doing is common and a must to keep people out of your land and things.  It is so different than the U.S.  Everything here has a way of “walking off”.  They have a saying in Mexico, “it wasn’t stolen, it just changed owners”.  Plus it will be so great to take the young people, children, married couples and pastors families into this Camp and have a time of forgetting about the things of this life and drawing closer to the Lord.  Then we go back to the work, encouraged and recharged.  Our next youth camp is April 15th – 18th  and Bro. Dean Hamby, his son Jason and Alan Sanders will be with us.

The family is doing well and the Lord is blessing us.  Judy is giving piano lessons now to several in the church.  She just had her two bottom wisdom teeth cut out and is almost to get over that.  She still has the two top ones to go.  Both Judy and Joanna are singing and working in the church and being a great blessing to us.

This year is our year to do furlough.  It is hard to believe that this March will be four years since our last furlough.  Time is flying.  We will probably wait and come back to the states around the last of July.  We will be booking meetings to start in the month of August so if you have any special time you would like us to come by your church email us at fred@kindhart.com or call my daughter Mary Street (864) 878-6069 evenings.

Yours in His service,

Fred Kindhart and family

Dear Pastor and praying friends,                                                                                               July 2002

Greetings dear friends. We trust you folks are doing well and that the summer is full of blessing for you and yours.  I know many of you are very busy during these summer months.

We just finished some wonderful meetings with Dr Dean Hamby and Bro Alan Saunders here preaching for us.  We brought the missions into the meetings and the Lord touched many hearts. We ask that you keep the work here in your prayers that they might go forward in their walk and work for the Lord.

There is much to do here in this area of Mexico.  Independent Baptist churches are unheard of around here.  Catholicism has the people in a strangle hold.  They know nothing about how to be saved and go to heaven, yet won’t listen to the truth of the gospel.  Pray that the Lord will open their eyes and hearts.  It is sad to see the utter despair of the lost condition of these people knowing we could give them the truth and finding that so many of them reject it so totally.  The devil really has millions of people in this country blinded by religion.

We have another young family in our church here that the Lord is calling to start another mission in a town just under an hour from us.  We went and looked for a house where they can live and hold services.  There is the young preacher, his wife, and three little children.  We found one house that was renting for 150.00 US dollars a month.  We are still looking for something a bit cheaper.  If anyone who reads this would like to help out on the rent for this new mission endeavor it would help us more than we can say.  We really don’t have the money to rent another place to start this work but there is no Baptist church of any kind in the town and we desperately need to start more works.  If you should want to help with this you could send your money to the mission office marked “Kindhart Mission Rent” and it will be used just for that.  If we could get some help for the first year often after that they will have some people that can help out with the rent.  Please pray about this need that the Lord will provide.  Somehow by God’s grace we will be renting whatever the Lord will provide in the next couple of weeks hopefully.  Pray we can find people that will rent to us, allowing us to have meetings in the house.  Many times when they find out what we want it for and that we are not Catholic they say no.

We will be having Vacation Bible School and also a children’s two day camp during the month of July.  Also I will be preaching a week of meetings in a town ten hours from here.  Often these churches later will send their young people to our camps and hopefully to our Bible School in the future.  Pray the Lord will bless in these outreaches.  Also if you have an email address please write us.  God bless you.

                                                                        Yours in Christ

                                                                        for a harvest of

                                                                        precious souls,

                                                                        The Kindharts
